Portrait Photography at Kew Gardens London – Our brilliant son Aaron

Week 32

Warning proud parent alert!  I wanted to post something a little different this week and to shout from the rooftops about one of my brilliant children, Aaron.  As you can imagine it is difficult for us to get quality time with our lovely children during the summer holidays yet they are so understanding and never moan about Mum and Dad flying here there and everywhere photographing weddings.  We managed to sneak in a Pengelly outing to Kew Gardens earlier this week and I took my camera along as I was sure an opportunity would come up to photograph one of them at some stage.  I just cannot resist a good door and with my handsome son in the vicinity it was a match made in heaven and here he is in glorious black and white.  As well as being wedding photographers Sabrina and I are building the portrait side to our business too; we love environmental as well as studio portraiture so it was a good opportunity to flex those portraiture muscles!  I love taking photographs of my children and I know I am biased but they are incredibly good at it 🙂

This summer has been quite momentous for Aaron; he has always been a good footballer but this year his talent has been recognised and taken to the next level.  Not only has he been accepted into the Colchester United Development Centre but we have also been to QPR FC for trials too.  I loved the fact that the coaches called him ‘Azza’ and wow you should have seen the cars, which resulted in prolific drooling from me!!

I am not sure that words can express the pride I feel for both of my children and next week’s image of the week is going to feature my gorgeous daughter Chloe.

One proud Mum and Dad signing off for today.

Kevin and Sabrina 🙂
