It was our first visit to Wivenhoe House and this is where we met Sarah who was getting ready with hair and makeup. From the time in the morning that we arrived to the time we left Sarah had the biggest grin on her face and did not stop smiling and laughing all day and with David’s great sense of humour we knew it was going to be a fun packed day.
We met David and all the guys outside for their photos, you will see from the photos the fabulous cuff links that they all had, we then went back to see Sarah for the finishing touches before she made her way down to the ceremony. It was a beautiful Summers day and after the ceremony all the guests were able to enjoy the weather outside in the grounds while we took the happy couple off for afew together shots.
Wivenhoe House was built in 1759 and was passed on down through the Rebow family, the estate was sold in 1902 to Charles Edmund Gooch and was requisitioned by the War Department in WWII and also served as the headquarters of the SAS.Wivenhoe Park and Hose was sold in 1964 to the University of Essex who’s ownership it remains in today.
The great thing about Summer weddings is being able to go out after the meal with the couple to capture afew more photos, a chance for them to walk off the wedding breakfast and us to get some lovely evening photos !
The day ended with everyone busting some great moves on the dance floor.
We had a lovely suprise just before Christmas when Sarah and David came to collect their wedding album as they had bought Kevin a set of Superman cuff links which he really loved and a lovely Christmas plant for me.
Thank you Sarah and David for the gifts and also for letting us be part of your special day,Kevin will be wearing these at the awards ceremony and we will post a photo for you after the event.
